Tom Brady and Champion Bucs receive glitzy Super Bowl LV rings in honor of their hometown’s historic victory
TAMPA, Fla – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers sport all-new Super Bowl LV rings to honor the first NFL Championship won in a team stadium in front of hometown fans.
The rings, unveiled Thursday night in a private ceremony for players, coaches, front office members, team employees and their families, feature a removable top of the ring that lets you see an entire replica of Raymond James Stadium, with everything from the 50-yard line to seats.
The 319 diamonds, including 15 carats of white diamonds and 14 carats of yellow diamonds, reflect the final Super Bowl score of 31-9. The removable twist top is the first of all Super Bowl rings. At the bottom of the removable tray, laser-etched in gold, is the word “HISTORIC” to commemorate the accomplishment. The summit also features two Lombardi trophies in tribute to the Bucs’ 2002 Super Bowl victory – the first in franchise history.
Around the top of the stadium on each of the four sides are four game scores of the Bucs’ four playoff wins against the Washington football team, the New Orleans Saints, the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Inside the group are the words “Trust, Loyalty, Respect”, their team’s motto.

âWe wanted him to represent the camaraderie and sacrifice our players and coaches went through along the way,â said co-owner Darcie Glazer-Kassewitz. âThis ring tells the story of this journey, it reflects the heart and soul of a team like no other before. We know it will be an emotional touchstone for everyone involved for many years to come. “

Previous Bucs Super Bowl rings were made by Tiffany’s. But most NFL teams used Jostens, who designed Tom Brady’s six Super Bowl rings with the New England Patriots and the rings worn by the Kansas City Chiefs after winning Super Bowl LIV after the 2019 season. But the Glazer family, owners of the Buccaneers, wanted something different.
âThey said, ‘Look, we’re not doing what’s expected of us. We’re getting rogue with you guys. We want to do something different. We don’t want to follow the herd,'” said Jason Arashben. , founder of Jason of Beverly Hills, who produced championship rings for the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, but had never produced Super Bowl rings.
âThis is the most practical property group we’ve had,â said Arasheben, who has also created custom pieces for celebrities like Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Dwyane Wade, Rihanna and Matthew McConaughey. âThey really, really wanted to design a ring that the team and the city would love. They put their blood, sweat and tears into it – and most importantly, their time, to make sure it was exactly the way they were. imagined at the end. “
Players like Lavonte David helped design it and even got a glimpse, while coach Bruce Arians, who won two Super Bowl rings as an assistant with the Pittsburgh Steelers and chose not to see the final design, had just one simple request: âI wanted to be able to wear it,â Arians said.
âWe have several posts in there. Everything from the final Super Bowl score to the fact that it was the first Super Bowl championship in a home stadium, the fact that they had eight straight wins before the Super Bowl, the fact that they only kept their opponent at 9 points, which is one of the weakest on record, âsaid Arasheben.
âWe paid tribute to every individual playoff victory, to every individual opponent. I think that’s what makes it special,â said Arasheben. âI don’t remember a ring in Super Bowl history that has so many stories. That’s why this ring took so long to design, because they weren’t happy to make a ring out of it. diamond. They wanted a diamond ring that was going to tell a story and in many ways – from design to the number of stones – they wanted to make a ring that was something special. “
The design alone took 2.5 months to finalize and sometimes included three phone calls a day with Bucs property. The rings are in yellow and white gold and are made of over 140 grams of gold and 15 carats of ethically sourced diamonds, which was very important to the Glazer family. Each individual ring is made up of 11 different parts that had to be manufactured and then assembled, which required 40 to 50 hours of work by seven different specialists. Each ring is personalized with the names of the players, accompanied by their number, set with diamonds.
Was there extra pressure to craft a design for Brady, knowing he already has six other rings? Arasheben said he had a similar experience setting up the Lakers’ ring for LeBron James.
âThis one, I felt the same pressure, if not more. Tom Brady has six previous Super Bowl rings. I was like, ‘You know what? This one must exceed expectations, exceed all the others that it has had in the past. And I am more than confident that we succeeded in doing so. “
