Taylor Swift and Cody Johnson among the most nominated at the 2022 American Music Awards

Nominations have been announced for the 2022 American Music Awards. The event will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater at LA LIVE in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 20 at 8:00 PM EST/PT, 7:00 PM CST on ABC.

Co-leading all women nominees is recent NSAI Co-Composer of the Decade Taylor Swift, who joins Beyoncé with six nominations. They will compete in three categories: Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Pop Artist and Favorite Pop Album. Drake also picked up six nominations and is up for the night’s highest honor, Artist of the Year, alongside artists with five nominations including Adele, Harry Styles and The Weeknd.
