Skrat is set to put on electrifying performances on his 2022 ‘Wake Up’ tour

Chennai-based garage rock band Skrat are set to embark on the 2022 ‘Wake Up’ Tour for a LOUD celebration of their 15th anniversary with powerful performances for their fans old and new.

The group will perform live on March 10, 12 and 13 in Mumbai, Delhi and Pune, respectively.

The trio includes Sriram TT on guitar and vocals, Jhanu Chanthar on bass and Tapass Naresh on drums. The band formed in 2006 and released their debut album ‘Design’ in 2010. They have since released ‘Bring Out the Big Guns’ in 2013, followed by ‘The Queen’ in 2014 and recently, ‘Bison’ in 2017.

With engaging hooks, an adrenaline-infused beat, and high-octane performances, Skrat have gained cult following through their unique songwriting, where they sing about imagined characters and their inherent struggles. For example, his fourth studio album, “Bison,” features General Bison and his unlikely cast of characters fighting injustice in their comic book-style world.

Although it takes its name from “Skrat”, a mischievous creature that possesses gold in myths and fables, the band’s gold and wealth manifests itself in the form of booming garage rock goodies. So, save your energy and get ready for a hard-hitting and thrilling night with Skrat coming to your town!
