Live shows return to Odell Williamson Auditorium in Brunswick County



After so many changes during the pandemic, the Odell Williamson auditorium on the Brunswick Community College campus is restarting its shows for the fall and will also feature films.

• The Kingston Trio, Thursday, September 9 – The Kingston Trio is an American folk and pop music group that helped start the folk revival from the late 1950s to the late 1960s. Admission is $ 37 and $ 35.

• Blues Traveler, Thursday, September 30 – Blues Traveler are an American rock band formed in Princeton, NJ in 1987. The band’s music spans a variety of genres, including blues rock, psychedelic rock, folk rock, soul and southern rock. General admission is $ 60.

• Jon Reep, Saturday October 23 – Jon Reep is an American comedian and actor, known as “Does This Thing Have A Hemi?” guy in Dodge commercials from 2004. From 2004 to 2006, he played the recurring character of cop Gerald Bob on the ABC sitcom “Rodney”. In 2007, Reep won the fifth season of Last Comic Standing on NBC. $ 35 general admission.

• “Top Gun” (1986) will screen at 7 pm on Sunday August 16 and Monday August 16. The film tells the story of students from the Elite Hunting Weapons School of the United States Navy competing to be the best of the class, the young pilot learns a few things… General admission is $ 5 .
