About the Artist, Ronda Eden aka Ronnieroo

Ronnie Says:

(A bio of sorts)

©Ronnie Roo/Artist of the Northern Front, Laramie WyomingG’day,

I was born in Adelaide , South Australia and spent my childhood dreaming about horses. I’ve spent most of my adult life wandering around in a state of confusion over what I really want to do and now, middle-aged, I am living my childhood dreams. I’ve been a factory worker, Chinese cook’s assistant, pharmacy assistant, teacher, storyteller, writer,  waitress, bartender, dishwasher, cleaner, touring art curator, gallery owner, horse trainer and artist A.O.T. (Among Other Things) For hobbies I’ve enjoyed  hiking, climbing, wind surfing, belly dancing, jogging, traveling, swimming, daydreaming, listening to music and of course, horse riding. Apart from the later, none of the above gets much of my attention these days. Especially travel! I love it right where I am, doing exactly what I’m doing. Ya’see, I live in Laramie , Wyoming , USA with my husband Mernie and together we run a horse boarding operation with 60 horses, 2 mules, a miniature donkey and a tough, bad ass tom cat. I still manage to be an artist A.O.T in between feeding, riding and shoveling poop but the horses come first. I do travel during the summers but a couple of the horses go with me and together we cover hundreds of miles on the endurance trails of the Mountain Region. I plan to be hoisting my creaky ole body onto a horse and riding high well into my old age…. with Mernie hot in pursuit. Life is good! http://roodroppings.blogspot.com

©Ronnie Roo/Artist of the Northern Front, Laramie Wyoming"If a picture is able to speak a thousand words, surely one can describe one little ole web page! The canisters contain what I have been up to 'til now and the pots are what I'm  presently focusing on. Of course I can always take a canister off the shelf should the occasion arise. Right now it's just a matter of making room on the stove and trying not to get burnt!"
