Born in Manhattan, Kansas in 1946. Received a BFA from the University of Wyoming in 1970, followed by a MFA from the University of Wyoming in 1973. Worked for 24 years in Information Technology for the University of Wyoming and then taught classes for the University of Wyoming Art Department for 10 years 1997 – 2007 (drawing, and watercolor). Retired in 2007 and now works full time in the studio in Laramie, WY.
