Summary:

NorthernFront.net is an alternative visual artists’ platform & virtual art venue, providing marketing & promotional services for visual artists. NorthernFront also serves as a digital portfolio & résumé service for professional artists and art patrons. Showcasing a regional collective of emerging artists & photographers, we specialize in paintings, photography, and original prints. Because of our unique location in Laramie, WY & to the fact that many of our artists come from the northern reaches of the Rocky Mountain Front Range, the work we feature can be characterized as Contemporary Art of the West. Thus our market necessarily targets those who enjoy and collect art from the American West.

Our philosophy rests on the idea that we are making a difference by Making Art Matter wherever we are by creating opportunities for underserved, regional artists to reach out & market their art to the world. Our artists receive the benefit of representation through a combination of online and real world services that proficiently showcases their work, while actively marketing it locally, regionally, and by virtue of our global reach, to the people of the world.

Though most of the work shown on our website is for sale, we think of ourselves primarily as a portfolio service, in difference to an online gallery. Our objectives therefore include:

Showcasing the work of “emerging artists, photographers & craftspeople by providing webspace at economic rates for creative people who want a web presence, but don’t have the time or patience to design, build and maintain their own sites and be creative too!

Secondly, because we want our artists to thrive creatively, NorthernFront seeks out ways to bring artists and patrons together by developing professional exhibiting opportunities and by entering alternative marketing venues.  By fostering public interest and public relations, we hope to create more of an ‘international following’ of active, knowledgeable and passionate art patrons, buyers and clients, who’ll not only appreciate our digital portfolios, but who'll also learn more about our artists and the services they provide and who’ll wish to see their work in person, and ultimately to make high-end purchases of original artwork. We are seeking both corporate interests and private clients.
