NorthernFront is an alternative visual artists’ platform, providing marketing & promotional services for visual artists. Through NorthernFront.net, our virtual art venue, artists receive the benefit of representation through a combination of online and real world services that proficiently showcases their work, while actively marketing it locally and regionally, to the people of the Northern Front Range, and by virtue of our global reach, to the world. Our objectives include:

Showcasing the work of “emerging artists, photographers & craftspeople by providing webspace at economic rates for creative people who want a web presence, but don’t have the time or patience to design, build and maintain their own sites and be creative too!

• We pledge to “take care” of your internet portfolio by designing your pages, updating and maintaining them regularly (to keep content fresh), performing Search Engine Optimization [SEO] (to make certain your name comes up on Major Search Engines and performing optimally).

• Client involvement allows you, the artist, to critique and request changes, as well as to be involved in promoting your pages; you may even request customization of your pages.* [extra charges may apply, including by the hour rates.]

• We strive for a Simple, but Professional Quality Internet Presentation where you are the focus. By joining us, your time is freed up so you can do what you should be doing, creating more art!

Exhibiting opportunities

Opening opportunities for artists and patrons to converge. Because we want our artists to thrive creatively, NorthernFront will seek out professional exhibiting opportunities and alternative venues. Our goal is to increase the local visibility of our artists through such exposure. [To date we have established ourselves by such Collective Exhibits as those held at Sweet Melissa’s, ASUW, and Night Heron Books; NorthernFront will also seek showings at regional museums and galleries, etc.] In addition, we are interested in stimulating the local art scene by shaping and participating in alternative avenues of presentation, [including ‘open shows’: such as the recently held ‘Nude Show’, the ‘Women’s Photo Show’, the Tarot Deck Project, the 6 man Portrait/Self-Portrait project: 'Beside Myself', the POP Open Show, etc. We also hope to develop art exhibits in partnership with charitable organizations, such as the Audubon Society, Laramie Rivers Conservation District, Big Hollow Food Co-op, etc; and will consider hosting events in short-term, temporary outlets and retail spaces.]

NorthernFront as a Media Provider

Fostering public interest and public relations by creating a ‘following’ of active knowledgeable art patrons who’ll not only appreciate your digital portfolios and learn more about you and the services you provide, but who’ll wish to see your work in person. NorthernFront will take an active role in providing media sources with original content, including press releases, promotional media packets, etc. [Examples:

Our Monthly newsletter, Hop on Front! informing members of upcoming art opportunities, events and issues of interest in the Laramie Area and the region. We send out Hop on Front! to an expanding mailing list at least twice monthly.]

[All who become members of the Front are automatic members of the collective.] Hypothetically, the group is motivated by a common interest in Art and issues related to the production and presentation of art locally, regionally and on the internet; and to pursuing group opportunities—all said, these are the goals of NorthernFront. "artistsoftheNorthernFront" is a community of artists, actively seeking new members who are passionate about art in general, and the Front Range cultural scene in particular. The collective gives artists a cohesive group identity for purposes of group exhibition and promotion.
